2006 Ozark Ultimate Open Top 10 Preseason Poll
UWA - Springfield, MO. The Kansas University HorrorZontals were picked to repeat as Ozark Section Champions in the 2006 Ozark Ultimate Preseason Poll released on Friday.
The voters, who consisted of representatives from nine teams, along with the South regional coordinator, Ozark sectional coordinator, and two members of the media, awarded Kansas 12 of 13 first place votes. Oklahoma, the second-ranked team in the poll, earned one first place vote.
This was the first year for the poll, which was open to all teams in the Ozark section.

If by sleeper team, you mean that they would do better if they just slept through a tournament, then you are correct.
